About Power Kazakhstan

Power Kazakhstan surely holds the leading place among the activities in the electricity subject area in Central Asia, and is considered the largest and the most visited event in this economy sector.

Power Kazakhstan is held annually since 2001, and includes an exhibition and the Forum of Power Engineers.

Every year, the exhibition presents to the visitors a full range of modern equipment, technologies and services for the electric power industry; and the Forum has become a traditional place for meeting and business contacts for industrialists and power engineers.

In 2012, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) awarded Exhibition Power Kazakhstan a certificate "UFI Approved Event". The award "UFI Approved Event" indicates a high organizational level of the event, its influence on business development and the formation of the industry, and confirms the reliability of the statistics.

Power Kazakhstan is supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company KEGOC JSC; Almaty City Akimat (Administration), Kazakhstan Electricity Association (KEA) ; Union of Power Engineers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Union of Engineering Companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Academician Sh. Chokin Kazakh Research Institute of Energy JSC.

Participation in the exhibition is an opportunity to present your products on the market of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries, to conclude direct contracts for the supply of products, to learn about the current buyer's requests and to establish new business contacts.

Every year, international and local energy companies, global manufacturers and suppliers of electrical equipment, technology and services companies providing maintenance at power facilities, engineering and consulting companies participate in the exhibition.

The main sectors of the exhibition are the generation, transmission and distribution of energy, electrical installations, power engineering, energy-saving and energy-efficient technologies and equipment, cable and wire, measuring and test equipment, automation systems, insulators, low voltage equipment, high voltage equipment, research and services in the energy sector, equipment for housing and communal services, metering devices, etc.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany, together with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA), enter the event Power Kazakhstan 2015 in a list of exhibitions, funded by government grants, and will present Czech and German national stands at the exhibition.

BUSINESS PROGRAM:

Kazakhstan Forum of Power Engineers will be the important business event at the exhibition Power Kazakhstan. Every year, over 150 specialists of energy industry attend the Forum. The Forum discussed the prospects of development of electric and thermal power in Kazakhstan, energy conservation and efficiency, implementation of Kazakh energy projects, development and support of alternative energy sources, rise of the Kazakh content in the production of the energy sector.

In addition to the Forum, seminars and presentations of companies-participants will be organized at the exhibition. Extensional business program introduces professionals the latest equipment and technologies for various sectors of industry.

VISITORS:

Power Kazakhstan is held in the one venue with the largest industrial events - The Kazakhstan International Exhibition «Lighting, Light Engineering and LED Technologies» - Lighting Kazakhstan, and the Kazakhstan International Exhibition «RES, Energy Saving, Energy Efficiency and Resource Saving» - ReEnergy Kazakhstan that will undoubtedly attract greater target audience.

Power specialists: representatives of government agencies and departments; heads of the energy companies, engineering and technical services; administration of REC, power plants, hydropower plants; chief engineers and power engineering specialist of public services and industrial enterprises in various economy sectors; representatives of design, construction and installation companies; specialists of transport, service and sales companies will visit exhibitions.

RESULTS 2014:

In 2014, (the total display of the) exhibitions presented more than 150 companies from Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Austria, China, Czech Republic, Finland, Lithuania, Serbia, Poland, Iran and Germany.

Traditionally, the exhibition was attended by national stand of the Czech Republic, Poland, China and Germany. For three days, more than 3 190 experts from Kazakhstan and foreign countries visited the exhibition. You can find Post Show report 2014 here.
