The world’s most important trends are increase of generation capacities, ensuring their compliance with the latest environmental and industrial safety requirements, improving energy efficiency, promotion of energy conservation, and broader use of alternative energy. Many countries implement government programmes on improving energy efficiency. In Kazakhstan, such objectives are reflected in the State Programme on Forced Industrial and innovative Development of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014. Power projects implemented under the Programme will be presented at the Forum of Power Engineers on November 2. Reports will be made by Duisenbai Turganov, Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan; Almasadam Satkaliyev, Chairman of the Board, KEGOC JSC; Anatoly Shkarupa, Deputy Chair, Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies; Auelbek Tokzhanov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board, National Innovation Fund; Tolebai Adilov, Director, Kyoto Protocol Department, Ministry of Environment Protection of Kazakhstan; Mikhail Gamburger, General Director, AlmatyEnergoSbyt LLP, etc. The Forum will discuss operation of power enterprises in Kazakhstan, current status and development outlooks of electrical and heat power engineering, energy conservation and energy efficiency, and development of alternative energy sources.
Power Kazakhstan 2010 exhibitors include more than 90 companies from China, Czech Republic, Germany, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey, and Ukraine. National stands will be presented by the Czech Republic and Germany. Traditionally, KEGOC JSC will have the central place at the exhibition.
Electrical equipment for distribution networks and industry will be presented at the exhibition by companies such as Alageum Electric / KazTransformator (Kazakhstan), Energomera Electrotechnical Works (Russia), ElectroService (Kazakhstan), Silovye Mashiny (Russia), Promyshlennoye Elektrooborudovaniye (Kazakhstan), and Vysokovoltny Soyuz (Ukraine).
Cables and cable systems will be presented by German companies BAYKA - Bayerische Kabelwerke AG, HELUKABEL GmbH, LAPP Group, as well as Vatan Kablo Metal Endustri VE TIC. (Turkey), Wenzhou Socome Power Equipment Co. (China), InterKabel Kiev (Ukraine), and IrkutskKabel (Kazakhstan).
Visitors will learn about new-generation transformers and transformer equipment from ZaporozhTransformator (Ukraine), Sverdlovsk Plant of Current Transformers (Russia), and SVEL Group (Russia).
Automated control systems at Power Kazakhstan 2010 will be presented by the following enterprises: MIR Research & Production Association (Russia) and Elektrotekhnicheskiy Zavod (Ukraine).
Insulators and equipment for power transmission lines will be presented by the Czech company KUVAG CR and Kazakhstani distributors: VALSA and Investor M.
The Lighting section will present local companies Zolotaya Grusha, Energy Taraz, and Elmark.
Every year, participants of Power Kazakhstan and the Forum of Power Engineers include international and local power companies, world manufacturers and suppliers of power equipment, technologies and services, enterprises which provide maintenance for power facilities, engineering and consulting companies.
