The development of a nuclear industry is an indicator of a high level of innovative growth in a country, as technologies originally developed for the nuclear sector can also be applied to medicine, space technology and other industries. It is for this reason that Kazatomexpo 2012 is attracting attention from leading domestic and international companies involved in nuclear and nuclear-related technology, government representatives and commercial figures.
